Five Minute Body Blasting Workout
It is no easy task to overcome your cravings, rid your body of toxins, and finally give it the activity it truly needs. We all know how hard it is to keep yourself motivated to get your workouts to keep up with your workouts. One of the best things you can do for your body is to give it a regular boost of energy, when you are low on time, or just cant commit to more time to work out, take five minutes to boost your heart rate and your metabolism.
How it Works: Do a set of each exercises back to back, completing as many reps as possible in 60 seconds.
The best part is you don’t need any equipment!
Run in place as fast as you can for 60 seconds. Moving your arms with your movements, if that is what makes you feel comfortable.
Jumping Jacks in a box
Basically you do traditional jumping jacks, but instead of landing in the same spot you jump forward, and then backwards. Repeat for 60 seconds. Make each one count.
Side-to-side Power Lunge
Begin standing, with your arms to your side, lunge to the left and touch the floor straight ahead, then push off of your left leg and jump into the air, straightening your body and clapping your hands together over your head. Land softly on bent knees before repeating the motions on the other side.
Single- Leg Plank Hops
Begin in full plank position. Lift the right leg and hop just your feet to the right, and keep your hands planted to the ground. Switch your feet every 20 hops. Complete as many reps as you can in 60 seconds.
Lower into a deep squat with arms extended to either side in a mock surfboard pose. Jump into the air into a tuck, bring your arms in across the horizon as fists at your chest. Land back on your board, but facing in the other direction. Complete as many controlled reps as possible for 60 seconds.
